FAQs
Once we are notified of your order, we may take up to two business days to hand pick and pack up your selection. Then we will mail it out on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday to ensure that it does not sit in the postal system over the weekend.
We do not make a profit on shipping. We simply forward you the price of the local carrier.
Our bon bons are made fresh and are best eaten within 10 days of purchase if stored at room temperature (18C/64F), or within one month if stored (well wrapped) in the fridge. Keep them out of the sun. They are best enjoyed at room temperature, regardless of where you store them.
Properly tempered chocolate is supposed to be shiny!
Tempering is a word that means improving the consistency, durability or hardness of a substance by heating and cooling it. Many substances, including metals, are tempered but the most important one might be chocolate. Tempered chocolate is very glossy and has a firm snap when you break it or bite into it.
We use coloured cocoa butter to create the effects on the outside of our bon bons. First it must be tempered, then it is applied to the mould using different tools depending on the effect we want to achieve.
Currently we have two vegan flavours: raspberry dark and blood orange. Check back with us often as we are working on having more!
We proudly use Cacao Barry and Valrhona chocolate in our creations.
