Kata Ambrus is the mastermind behind Chocolat de Kat, an artisanal chocolatier in Toronto creating gorgeous truffles, hot chocolate bombs and more chocolatey delights. After leaving behind a career as an art historian, Kata pursued her creative passion and went to pastry school—eventually interning under the infamous Chef Dominique Ansel (the pastry chef who invented the Cronut!). “I am still pinching myself knowing that I can play with chocolate for a living,” Kata explains. “Our goal at Chocolat de Kat is to make every bite even more delicious than it looks.”
