Your message will be handwritten on the card by one of our team members — and yes, we're picky about who. Only those with the best penmanship are allowed to write cards! Consider it part of the experience.

We do! Here’s how delivery works:

• Toronto local courier: Free over $100, otherwise $15 flat rate

• Canada-wide shipping: Free over $200. Available through our website (rates vary by destination)

• Same-day delivery: Available on a case-by-case basis if you order early in the day. Email us at hello@chocolatdekat.com and we can let you know if it's possible!

• Uber Eats: Available for select items from our Campbell Ave location. Assorted boxes only -- custom bonbon selection is not possible via Uber. If you want a same-day custom box, see "Same-day delivery" above.

You can also pick up for free at our Campbell Ave location. Please note that we do not ship during the summer months (June - September) when all long distance shipping is turned off.

Ideally, your fridge. Our chocolates will keep for 2 weeks at room temperature, or 2 months in the fridge. When you’re ready to eat them, take them out and let them come to room temperature. Some also prefer to eat them a little cold, right out of the fridge! If you're worried about fridge smells, pop your box into a Ziploc bag.

Online orders are typically packed & ready to be shipped within 24 hours. After that, delivery time depends on your location and delivery method.

Greater Toronto Area: We typically ship orders via our own local courier on the next business day, as seasonal volume allows. You can select your desired delivery date at checkout.



Rest of Canada: We only ship orders out Monday through Wednesday to prevent your package from sitting in the postal system. Once shipped, orders will typically arrive within 2-3 business days. For example, if you place an order on Thursday, it will be shipped out on Monday, and arrive by Wednesday. Please note that the postal system does not deliver on Sundays or public holidays.



US (International): We only ship orders out Monday through Wednesday to prevent your package from sitting in the postal system. Once shipped, orders will typically arrive within 4-5 business days. Please note that US customs have become very strict since tariff season, so clearing customs can sometimes take an additional 1-2 days. For example, if you place an order on Thursday, it will be shipped out on Monday, and arrive by Thursday or Friday. That the postal system does not deliver on Sundays or public holidays.

If you need your chocolates the same day: Please visit our chocolate factory at 300 Campbell Ave (open 9 AM – 3 PM daily). For local Toronto same-day requests, email us at hello@chocolatdekat.com and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
